The Discovery Programme is aimed at 5-8 year olds and designed to prepare and progress players into the Skill Centre. Fun sessions focused on introducing players to the core skills and structured training.
Each session is lead by coaches who have obtained the NZF Junior Level 2 Coaching Award and BMAFC senior team players.

Programme Curriculum
The Discovery Programme curriculum is designed using the NZFJunior Framework. Each training session will focus on one of the following core skills:
- Striking the ball
- Receiving the ball
- 1v1
- Travelling with the ball
Wet Weather Process
Any session postponements due to bad weather will be communicated via email so please check your email before leaving for the session. Postponed sessions will be caught up at the end of a term or at the beginning of the next term.

Our Discovery Programme is open to BMAFC members & non-members. To register follow the below instructions:
Members (Registered for 2025 Season)
1. Log into Friendly Manager and click “Register Now”
2. Click “Coaching Programmes”
3. Select the Term and Group you would like to register for
4. To register for multiple Terms or Programmes, repeat step 3
Non-Members (Register as a Guest / Non-Member)
