As we wrap up another fantastic season and start looking ahead to 2027, we’re proud of the strong foundations we’ve built together and are keen to hear from members who would like to play a bigger part in shaping and supporting the next chapter of BMAFC.
Like any community club, we’re powered by volunteers, and with our AGM later this year there will be opportunities to get involved both on and off the Committee.
While some Committee members will be stepping down, we’re keen to hear from members who would like to contribute their skills, experience, and enthusiasm in a range of roles across the club.
You don’t need previous committee or governance experience. Enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a passion for the club are far more important to continue the great work we are doing.
Whether you’re interested in:
- Joining the Committee
- Volunteering for non committee roles e.g. Junior/Youth Coordinators, Safeguard Officer, Facilities
- Helping with a specific project or area of the club
- Supporting events and club activities
…I’d love to have a conversation so feel free to contact me at president@bmafc.co.nz
A few key dates and notes:
- The AGM is planned for Monday 23 November 2026.
- Expressions of interest for both Committee and non-Committee volunteer roles are welcome at any time from now
- In accordance with the Club Constitution, a formal call for nominations for Committee positions will be circulated at least two weeks prior to the AGM.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. BMAFC is built on the efforts of volunteers, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who contributes to making our club such a special place!
Up the Beach!
